DESCRIPTION:The Lunenburg Academy of Music Performance’s popular jazz concert series continues on Saturday\, August 29\, 2026\, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. with “In Memory of Sonny Rollins.” Join Mike Murley (saxophone)\, Tom Easley (bass)\, Nick Halley (drums)\, and Richard White (guitar) for a special tribute to legendary saxophonist and jazz icon Sonny Rollins (1930–2026). Through a program inspired by Rollins’ extraordinary career and enduring influence\, the quartet will celebrate one of the most important voices in jazz history with artistry\, creativity\, and improvisation. \nWhether you’re a longtime jazz lover or new to the genre\, LAMP’s Jazz Concert Series promises an unforgettable musical experience.
