DESCRIPTION:The Musikalische Exequien by Heinrich Schütz at the Cathedral with Capella Regalis and the Cathedral Choir. This masterwork will comprise the centrepiece of the “For All the Saints” program that afternoon with guest players and singers from the Canadian Early Music scene. This performance is one of a number of events taking place across Canada in November as part of SchützFest 350 to mark the 350th anniversary – to the day – of Schutz’s death on November 6\, 1672.
