Daniel MacNeil Quartet presented by Musique Royale
Musique Royale presents Daniel MacNeil’s Jazz Quartet at St. John Evangelist Anglican Church on May 9, 2026, at 3:00 PM. The ensemble features guitarist Daniel MacNeil, joined by Chris Mitchell (saxophone), Tom Easley (double bass), and Nick Halley (drums). The concert will mix original works with improvisations, jazz repertoire, and classical traditions from around the world. Don’t miss it! Capella Regalis has been invited to sing Choral Evensong at Trinity Church in Fairview. The service will feature special music for Ascensiontide, organ accompaniment by Paul Halley, and a sermon by the Rev’d Dr. Gary Thorne. The Rector, Fr. Benjamin Lee (father of three Capella Regalis choristers) will officiate. All are welcome to attend this one-hour service of music and prayer, especially children and families in the neighbourhood. Capella Regalis is thrilled to announce their 2026 Québec–Ontario Tour! For the first time, the ensemble will tour beyond the Maritimes, with performances in Montréal, Ottawa, Kingston, and Toronto from May 22 to 31, 2026.
