Capella Regalis Men & Boys Choir (Nick Halley) will join the All Saints Cathedral Choir in a production of the Musikalische Exequien (Funeral Music) by Heinrich Schütz, composed in 1635-1636. Directed by Paul Halley, this masterwork will comprise the centrepiece of the “For All the Saints” concert program that afternoon with guest players and singers from the Canadian Early Music scene.
This performance takes place on the 350th anniversary – to the day – of Schütz’s death on November 6, 1672. It is one of a number of events taking place across Canada in November as part of SchützFest 350.
