The Lunenburg Academy of Music Performance’s popular jazz concert series continues on Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. with “In Memory of Sonny Rollins.” Join Mike Murley (saxophone), Tom Easley (bass), Nick Halley (drums), and Richard White (guitar) for a special tribute to legendary saxophonist and jazz icon Sonny Rollins (1930–2026). Through a program inspired by Rollins’ extraordinary career and enduring influence, the quartet will celebrate one of the most important voices in jazz history with artistry, creativity, and improvisation.

Whether you’re a longtime jazz lover or new to the genre, LAMP’s Jazz Concert Series promises an unforgettable musical experience.
